Festa del Redentore (Feast of the Redeemer)

Celebrated every third Saturday of the month, the Festa del Redentore is one of the most loved events by the Venetians and culminates with an exciting fireworks display in the San Marco Basin. The highest fires can also be admired from our panoramic terrace.

Venice International Film Festival
August 30th - September 9th, 2023
The most glamorous event of the year that brings celebrities and influencers to the Lido of Venice. The calendar offers competitions, exhibitions and events, including the International Critics' Week where the Mario Serandrei - Hotel Saturnia Award for the best technical contribution is given.

Regata storica (Historical Regatta)
September 3rd, 2023
Every first Sunday of September, the Historical Regatta offers a splendid water parade with typical boats and figures in costume, which is followed by various competitions along the Grand Canal. One of the most evocative traditional events, not to be missed.

Venice Marathon
October 22nd, 2023
42 km competitive running event that starts in the Venetian hinterland and ends at the Giardini, in the historic center, passing through Piazza San Marco. The 21 km half marathon and a non-competitive race that retraces the last ten kilometers of the official route are also proposed.

Feast of Madonna della Salute
November 21st, 2023
It is the last traditional event before Christmas. Venice commemorates the votive offering of the entire city to the Madonna for the end of a terrible plague between 1630 and 1631 To facilitate pilgrimages to the Basilica of the Madonna della Salute, a temporary floating bridge over boats is built over the Grand Canal.
