It is possible to easily get to Hotel Saturnia & International by using various means of transportation. We present hereby some useful indications on how to reach the hotel from the most common points of departure.
The easiest way to reach the Saturnia is certainly by taxi - which in Venice is a boat - which will lead you directly to the hotel, where you will access the hotel from the 'water gate' entrance of the adjacent canal. Another convenient option is the Alilaguna shuttle, a public service that connects the airport with the city centre. Hotel Saturnia is a few minutes walk from the San Marco stop.
In the area adjacent to arrivals there is a shuttle bus service which leads to Venice, Piazzale Roma. From there you can reach Hotel Saturnia by taxi or by waterbus.
The easiest solution is to take a water taxi that leads you directly to the hotel. A valid alternative are lines 1 and 2 of ACTV, the public waterbus service throughout the city and connecting the centre to the islands. Take line 1 towards San Marco and get off at the Santa Maria del Giglio stop and, going along a short stretch on foot, always in the direction of San Marco, you will reach your destination. Or get off at San Marco Vallaresso and proceed on foot towards the Accademia. After a few minutes you will reach Saturnia.
You can also use line 2, which makes fewer stops, always in the direction of San Marco.
Please be informed that Venice is entirely a pedestrian area, therefore it is not possible to use the bicycle or other cycles, even if carried by hand. The only exception is the trip between Piazzale Roma and the Venice Santa Lucia train station crossing the Costituzione bridge (bike by hand). However, a Bike Park with closed boxes is available in Piazzale Roma. Find more information in Bici Park Venice
