An event hosted by Hotel Saturnia & International to go deeper into a topic of current times for the City and its Lagoon. By taking a look at past events, it will be possible to understand how over the years, not to say centuries, the weather phenomena relating to Venice have changed.
What about the future? Potential scenarios that must be tackled in the next decades will be analyzed, both according to the general climate subject and to the more specific tide levels issue.
The ones presenting the whole topic will be engineer Paolo Canestrelli, founder of the Centro Previsione e Segnalazioni Maree who managed it for about thirty years, and the journalist Leopoldo Pietragnoli, reporter of the Il Gazzettino and scholar studying Venice’s history.
Free entrance (reservation required by November, 28 by email marketing@hotelsaturnia.it or at 041/5208377).
