2021 Redentore Festival in Venice
On Saturday July 17th, Venice celebrates the Festa del Redentore, one of the most popular events for residents who usually spend the evening with relatives and friends, having dinner together and having fun while waiting for the exciting fireworks display.
The festival commemorates the end of the plague of 1575-1577 and a temporary bridge is built on boats on the Giudecca Canal to reach the Church of the Redentore on foot.
To live an exciting evening like the Venetians, we suggest you dine at La Caravella and then admire the highest fireworks from our panoramic terrace, which is accessible for both hotel guests and outsiders for this occasion.
The Redentore dinner 2021 at La Caravella (SOLD OUT!)
The Festa del Redentore is an opportunity to spend an evening with relatives and friends and enjoy an excellent dinner.
Our La Caravella Restaurant therefore offers you a Redentore menu, with two appetizers (Venetian salted cod with fried polenta and the "sardee in saor"), a first dish (shellfish and crustaceans risotto with candied lemon), a main course (turbot fillet with Sant'Erasmo island' herbs. mussel coulis, potato rosti cake and small seasonal veggies) and a dessert (watermelon bavarian cream. passito wine flavored cream).
All at a price of 100 euros per person, including wines paired by our sommelier.
Or you can order what you like best from the menu.
The fireworks display from the panoramic terrace (SOLD OUT!)
The fireworks display is scheduled at 11.30pm.
Access to the San Marco basin and the banks are limited and by reservation, so our panoramic terrace is the ideal place to admire the highest fireworks.
It can be accessed upon reservation and at a cost of 30 euros per person which includes 2 drinks prepared by our Il Caravellino Bar and, to respect the Venetian tradition, watermelon.
