The Miracle of Cana

Exactly 210 years later, the famous Paolo Veronese’s 16th century painting (now kept at the Louvre Museum) “returns” to its original place at the Palladio Refectory on the Island of San Giorgio.

This was made possible thanks to British artist Adam Lowe, who has created, at the Madrid Factum Arte work-shop, a 1:1 scale replica of the famous painting , offering old texts and a series of copies from a period preceding the painting; the second is dedicated to the various phases of creating the facsimile painting, offering video films, photographs and information panels, as well as a display of the tools and materials used in the production of the actual painting.
