The Arsenale, the old shipyard which was mentioned even by Dante in his Divine Comedy, with its production activities, its skilled workers, the historical implications of the Venetian shipbuilding system and the subject of water, a fundamental element not only for the city but for the entire globe: These are the focal points of the second edition of this show produced by ExpoVenice S.p.A. in collabioration with the Italian Navy.

During the show visitors may freely tour the famous Arsenale, a treasure-trove of historical Jewels of Italian civil and military shipping. The show is complemented for the first time this year by a fair that is aimed not only at tourists but also at companies and trade people: Pianeta Acqua or Water Planet, is dedicated 360° to the water related world - nautical science, culture and tourism, art and craft, environment, enogastronomy and more - with special events, exhibition stands, conferences focusing on boating, the sea and water.
