Hotel Saturnia & International is located in the heart of the city, just 250 metres from St. Mark's square and 100 metres from La Fenice Theatre. Few other hotels in Venice can boast such a central and prestigious location.
Following are tips on how to reach the hotel from the most common points of departure.
The easiest way to reach the Saturnia is certainly by taxi - which in Venice is a boat - which will lead you directly to the hotel, where you will access the hotel from the 'water gate' entrance of the adjacent canal. Another convenient option is the Alilaguna shuttle, a public service that connects the airport with the city centre. Hotel Saturnia is a few minutes walk from the San Marco stop. For this short stretch, you can also take advantage of our porter service.
In the area adjacent to arrivals there is a shuttle bus service which leads to Venice, Piazzale Roma. From there you can reach Hotel Saturnia by taxi or by waterbus.
From Venice Santa Lucia railway station, Piazzale Roma or Tronchetto
The easiest solution is to take a water taxi that leads you directly to the hotel.
A valid alternative are lines 1 and 2 of ACTV, the public waterbus service throughout the city and connecting the centre to the islands. Take line 1 towards San Marco and get off at the Santa Maria del Giglio stop and, going along a short stretch on foot, always in the direction of San Marco, you will reach your destination. You can also use line 2, which makes fewer stops, always in the direction of San Marco. Get off at San Marco Vallaresso and proceed on foot towards the Accademia. After a few minutes you will reach Saturnia.
From Fusina Car Terminal
From here the easiest service is the Fusina Circular, a public transport shuttle service that runs year-round, allowing you to reach the centre of Venice, the Zattere stop, in about half an hour. From the Zattere stop we recommend proceeding on foot until the Accademia stop, then take ACTV line 1 and get off at Santa Maria del Giglio. Hotel Saturnia is located a few hundred metres away.
