Venice wine and vineyards - meeting with 'La Laguna nel bicchiere' association and wine tasting

The Hotel Saturnia & International is pleased to host on Wednesday, November 16th at 6 p.m. the meeting with ‘La Laguna nel bicchiere-Le Vigne ritrovate’ Association, whose products and work will be introduced during the evening; they represent the result of constant efforts to achieve a unique wine of the Venetian Lagoon tradition.

After the meeting, guests will have the chance to taste the wines produced by the Association. The traditional wine of the lagoon comes from the rediscovered vineyards between Sant'Erasmo, Vignole, San Michele, Zitelle, Scalzi, La Tana and Malamocco, some of which are grown in ancient convents of the Venice Lagoon islands.

A great recognition has been obtained through the efforts of the members: the prize for the Wine Civilization awarded by the Masi Foundation. The main goal of ‘La Laguna nel bicchiere’ is to conserve the cultivated landscape, the culture and tradition connected to the Lagoon. Thanks to the perseverance and passion of the members and several volunteers, it is still possible to taste the unique wines of the Lagoon.

Free entrance (reservation required by November, 14 by email  marketing@hotelsaturnia.it or at 041/5208377).
