The Hotel Saturnia & International keeps up with the times in order to meet its clients requirements.

This year, taking advantage of winter, Gianni Serandrei, in charge of the hotel renovation, and one of the owners, has restructured some rooms with the collaboration of a large team of workers and craftsmen and with the architect Roberto Canovaro assistance and cooperation. You can get here a preview of our new rooms, which will welcome our guests at best, by ensuring the most confortable stay.

The rooms have been decorated with beautiful ceilings, gorgeous Murano glass chandeliers 1900’s style and the bathrooms realized with fine marble and Bisazza mosaics, will win you over from the first moment. And to make your stay more pleasant, the entire hotel staff will be at your disposal with the same professionalism that distinguishes from more than a hundred years the hotel Saturnia & International.

The hotel has its uniqueness which is represented by the Serandrei family, which has been running it since 1908; from four generations this family undertakes to ensure that each client can feel at home. • Star_art for everyone – atelier for families: every Saturday (from 3.00 p.m.), Palazzo Grassi and Punta della Dogana will host a special workshop for children, from 4 to 10 years old, who can be introduced to contemporary art, in order to stimulate their creativity.

• Kids day: every Sunday (from 3 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.) the Peggy Guggenheim Collection organizes free activities for children from 4 to 10 years old, mainly in italian but also in other languages. The young visitors will have the chance to discover the world of modern and contemporary art.

• Oggi leggo anch'io: every Tuesday (from 5.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m.) at the bookstore Giunti (Campo Sant’ Aponal), or every Monday (from 5.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. -Rio Tera’ Maddalena 2001/2/3), all children from 4 years old will be meet together to freely listen stories, read by expert readers.  After five readings, kids will receive a book for gift.

• Art detective: on 13th November 2016 (at 2.00 p.m.), the Correr Museum proposes to children from 6 to 12 years old, a briefly visit of the palace rooms that will be transformed into a playing field (free entrance).

• The Mondo Novo: on 11th December 2016 (at 2.00 p.m.) at Ca’ Rezzonico Museum children from 7 to 14 years old will be welcome to discover the world of optical views through didactic itineraries and laboratories, by which kids can realize their own three-dimensional screenplay.
